Prized Porker

Pigs is pigs. I would love to one day own a miniature pot belly pig. This isn't really a pot belly, but it's round and cute. I love their little noses.

Jerboa

Jerboas are my new fave animal. They're like kangaroo rats only cuter. They have long rabbit ears, giant kanagroo feet and lion tails. They look like something Bill Peet would make up. Jerboas are seldom seen and live in the deserts of Africa, Asia and Arabia. They love to eat bugs and are actually becoming endangered because of, you guessed it, Man.

Self Portrait

Feeling super lousy as of late. I miss the simplicity of using the gym and doing yoga at UCLA, and feeling well in general.
EDIT: In an attempt to be more positive, I'll try to not post so many drawings such as these. I tend to use this blog as a form of therapy, an outlet if you will.

Tonight's Animal: River Otter

Felt like drawin' some otters; fancy spring-timey otters. I love the colors.

Lowls!

OWLS! They're cute and somewhat frightening at the same time. I mean, they can be so cuddly and almost mammalian-like. Chipmunks with feathers. And then they can be nightmarish, with those giant saucer eyes that pierce your soul.

Otterpop

Otterpop- Addy's counterpart. He's pretty awesome as far as cats go. You can rough him up and he rolls over and purrs for more. He's more like a dog than a cat. He has elegant features and doesn't look like a confused owl, like Addy.

Addy

Addy is my friends- Traci, Erik, Brandon, Alex and Mike's cat. She's an idiot. Basically she's their source of amusement. She's dumb as a post and very troubled. Her counterpart is Otterpop, who is actually a really cool cat. I hate cats, and Addy just makes me hate them even more. She looks like an owl, only with fur and whiskers.

French!

I made this for someone tonight. He wanted to get a French Bulldog puppy, but unfortunately the plan fell through. I guess this is the next best thing ;)

work in progress

I started this a while ago. I was inspired by the song: Mr. Ghost Goes to Town
This is definitely a work in progress. I've hit a wall. I actually wanna re-do the whole thing, but I've worked on it off and on so I thought I'd post. I want to take out the suitcase or put it somewhere else. I don't like his face either. Bleh.

Jose!

I drew Jose Carioca for my friend Traci. He's her favorite Disney character and I knew she'd get a kick outta it, especially cuz it's her birthday today!

Circus Bears

I felt like drawing some circus bears. Bears are neat creatures. They're like giant badgers or something. Not really a dog, not really a cat.

White Elephant

I have like three white elephant parties at work before xmas break, so I figured I'd make a little gift card to give along with my present. I think I'll add "Happy Holidays" or something generic yet informative to it.

Cold!

It officially FELT like a true fall day today. Snappy cold and clear and the clouds looked extra white and fluffy against a bright blue sky. I wish every day could be like this. It was a perfect Thanksgiving day!

here kitty

i saw Bolt tonight and all the kitty acting and animation made me wanna draw a cat. i'm not privy to the kitties, but they're fun to draw and i'm not so allergic to them as the real deal.
